    Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground lamb
  • 1/3 cup minced shallots
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

    Directions

  1. Heat the grill to medium. Meanwhile, in a large bowl combine the lamb with the shallot, garlic, thyme, oregano if using, salt, pepper and olive oil. Form four patties. Place on the grill and cook to desired doneness, 3 to 6 minutes per side for medium rare.
