Donna John Reynolds

Known for casually elegant entertaining inspired by her life in the South, Donna John ReynoldsÂ’ specialty is making food look just as good it tastes. With more than 20 years experience in food styling and instruction, Donna brings a wealth of knowledge to every recipe she prepares and a welcoming feel to every table she sets.

As host and producer of Simple Cooking (a cooking segment of Carolina Outdoor Journal) for 12 consecutive seasons, Donna creates, styles and demonstrates each recipe featured on the show. In addition to her hosting duties, Donna has worked with clients nationwide in food styling and demonstration since graduating from Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina with a degree in Foods and Nutrition. Her unique career path has included representing the North Carolina Egg Association as Marketing Home Economist while giving on air demonstrations, serving as the national bridal spokesperson for KitchenAid Portable Appliances, and representing clients such as Reynolds/Alcoa, Weber Grills and House-Autry Mills on the local and national levels.

Donna works as a project manager for Kitchen Consultants a company that provides food professionals to PR Agencies and Food Manufacturers to facilitate their promotional projects or product launches.

Donna lives in North Carolina with her husband and two children.
