Season 5, Episode 3: Tarts

Things are heating up in the Baking Show tent in Episode 3 as the remaining 10 bakers do their best to wow Paul and Mary with some unusual flavor combinations for their tartes tartin.

Baking know-how is the all important ingredient for coming through the technical challenge unscathed: Mary’s treacle tart seems simple enough, but its lattice top proves to be the undoing for some of the bakers.

The pressure’s on… a show stopping tart is no easy task when baked under the gaze of Paul and Mary, but it’s the bakers’ best chance to achieve the accolade of Star Baker, and more importantly, to avoid going home.
