Ring in the New Year with a Sparkling Dark and Stormy

A few years ago I had my first dark and stormy ever and ever since it’s been my go-to drink. They remind me of balmy summer nights and cold, cold drinks. I don’t usually drink them during the wintery months but I figured a splash of champagne would make them festive enough for New Years.

I’m doing the old-person thing this New Years and hanging out at home with a few friends and I’ve been thinking about what I’m going to make for us to sip on that evening. I want something that doesn’t require a ton of ingredients and something I can prep beforehand. This is a perfect option. I’m also thinking of trying to make my first Glogg, the Swedish mulled wine. If any of you have a go-to recipe, I’d love to hear about it!
