    Ingredients

  • 2 large mangos
  • 100 grams red bell pepper, finely diced (about 1 large pepper)
  • 60 grams red onion, finely diced (about 1/3 onion)
  • 20 grams cilantro, minced
  • 2 teaspoons aleppo chili flakes
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

    Directions

  1. Peel the mangos using a peeler.
  2. Orient the mango on its side (with the stem facing you) so that it's standing on its narrow side, not the broad side.
  3. Insert your knife just to the right of center and cut the side off, tracing the contour of the pit with your knife. Repeat with the other half.
  4. Trim off the remaining mango around the pit, and then cut the mango into 1/4-inch cubes.
  5. Add all the ingredients to a bowl and stir to combine.
