  • Fresh Oysters


  1. To store oysters:
  2. Clean the shell;
  3. Place oyster, cupped side down;
  4. Keep moist with a clean damp towel on top.
  5. Place in refrigerator, around 38-40 degrees Fahrenheit, or use a clean ice chest with Blue Ice or other type of gel pack. Regular ice may be used if the melted ice can drain off.


Remember: Fresh water kills oysters!
