Switchel is a Caribbean recipe with a water base mixed with vinegar and seasoned with ginger.

    Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 inch of ginger, grated
  • 1 gallon of cold water
  • fresh seasonal fruit for garnish

    Directions

  1. In a jug large enough to hold a gallon of water, mix the honey, apple cider vinegar and water together, taste add more honey or vinegar if needed.
  2. Serve in glasses filled with ice and garnish with seasonal fruit.
