About the Documentary

Blind Love follows four single, blind millennials in their quest for love. With assists from their eager circle of family and friends, these young men and women hope to find The One. Hailing from Florida, Maryland, New York, and Texas, with interests ranging from poker playing to ballroom dancing, these singles bring fresh perspectives on contemporary dating. Each is on a mission to be understood for who they are–they don’t want pity, they want a serious relationship. 

The Filmmaker

Patricia Zagarella

Patricia Zagarella has been creating documentaries for over ten years. Her sophomore documentary, Baring It All produced for The Style Network was a Daytime Emmy winner in the category of Outstanding Special Class Special. Patricia’s directorial debut, the social issue documentary, Walk Like a Man, a co-production between SBS (Australia) and LOGO (USA) was a critic’s pick with The Sydney Morning Herald, The Weekend Australian and Herald Sun. Patricia's other documentaries include the shorts: Chosen, Blue Is The New Pink, and As Love Would Have It. When not creating social issue driven documentaries, Patricia works as a Co-Executive Producer in unscripted television, and has been part of the creative producing teams on shows for VH1, BET, TLC, Lifetime, and Discovery.
