Marisa Tomei

Marisa Tomei won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as ‘Mona Lisa Vito’ in MY COUSIN VINNY. She subsequently earned Academy Award nominations for her performances in IN THE BEDROOM and THE WRESTLER.

Throughout her silver screen career she has tackled a diverse range of memorable roles in both film and television, earning many other Awards and nominations along the way. Credits include SPIDERMAN, LOVE IS STRANGE, THE BIG SHORT, CRAZY STUPID LOVE and BEFORE THE DEVIL KNOWS YOU’RE DEAD. Upcoming: Ira Sachs’ A FAMILY VACATION and HUMAN CAPITAL.

She’s also a veteran of the theatre and her live performances both on and off Broadway have earned her numerous accolades. Broadway Credits include: REALISTIC JONESES, TOP GIRLS and SALOME, and was last seen onstage in HOW TO TRANSCEND A HAPPY MARRIAGE and THE ROSE TATTOO. She is a founding member of Naked Angels Theater Company in New York City and works very closely with Eve Ensler.
