The four-hour biography of Bill Clinton makes reference to almost 100 different people, including the 53 people interviewed in the film. Below are short descriptions of who is who and how they relate to the Clinton administration.

Mohamed Farah Aidid was a warlord in Somalia whom Clinton hoped to capture with U.S. Special Forces on October 3, 1993. During the raid in the heart of Mogadishu, violent and intensive close combat resulted in numerous causalities including the death of 18 U.S. soldiers. The events became famous in Mark Bowden's book Black Hawk Down: A Story of Modern War.

*Jonathan Alter is a journalist and author who had regular access to Bill Clinton during his administration.

*Christiane Amanpour is a journalist who serves as an information advisor to Hillary Clinton and maintained personal contact with the Clintons during the Clinton Administration.

*Kofi Annan served as the U.N. Secretary-General from 1997-2006.

*Don Baer was one of president Clinton's senior advisers from 1994-1997, serving as assistant to the president and white house director of strategic planning and communications. Proper positions included director of speechwriting and research and chief white house speechwriter.

Zoe Baird was Clinton's first Attorney General nominee in December 1992. Her name was withdrawn on account of her failure to pay taxes for household help.

Bill Blythe was Bill Clinton's biological father who lost his life in a car accident before Clinton was born.

Johnny Carson was a television talk show host who invited Bill Clinton on his show following Clinton's unpopular speech at the 1988 Democratic Convention, dramatically improving his reputation

Virginia Cassidy was Bill Clinton's mother and sole provider during the first years of Clinton's childhood.

Chelsea Clinton is the daughter of Bill and Hillary Clinton who spent her teenage years in the White House. On the day following Clinton's grand jury testimony and apology to the nation, Chelsea famously leads her mother and father across the South Lawn of the White House hand-in-hand.

Hillary Clinton was First Lady during the Clinton administration and later ran for president in 2008.

Roger Clinton was Bill Clinton's stepfather who struggled with alcoholism.

Roger Clinton Jr. is Bill Clinton's half-brother who grew up in Hot Springs, Arkansas with Bill.

Robert Dole ran an unsuccessful campaign against Bill Clinton in the 1996 Presidential election.

Al Gore was Bill Clinton's Vice President during both of Clinton's presidential terms. In 2000, he lost the presidential election to George W. Bush.

Col. Eugene Holmes was Clinton's Arkansas ROTC commander. Clinton fulfilled his draft requirements in Arkansas during the Vietnam War, and later thanked Holmes for "saving [him] from the draft." When the letter surfaced just before the 1992 Democratic primary, many accused him of draft dodging and his polling numbers plummeted.

Bob Kaiser was an editor at the Washington Post who made frequent requests to the White House for Whitewater-related documents. Clinton's refusal to turn over records led to widespread attack from journalists and political enemies.

John F. Kennedy was Bill Clinton's idol as a teenager. During a trip to the White House as a delegate to Boys Nation, Clinton shook Kennedy's hand.

Paul Tsongas was a Massachusetts senator running for 1992 democratic primary against Bill Clinton.
