Ida B Wells : The Advocate

A prominent journalist, Ida B. Wells exposed racial violence in the South. In 1913, she led a trip to Washington, D.C. to march in the national suffrage parade. But Wells was met with hostility and asked to march in the back. She resisted, boldly marching alongside the white women in the parade.
