APPRAISER: So, you had a pretty famous brother.
GUEST: Well, yes, we are quite proud of him. He was all-American football player at West Point, '27, '28, and '29. This is his certificate for the 1929.
APPRAISER: You're talking of course about Red Cagle. We have this award, very ornate, and we see that it's signed by two other famous individuals, Knute Rockne and Pop Warner…
GUEST: That's right.
APPRAISER: …both of whom were also prolific in football. In 1929, he had a heck of a year, winning not only this award but the Collegiate Player of the Year Award. And he also played in the NFL, he played for the Giants. And when he played for the Giants, he was the second-highest paid player in the league. So, he's pretty good. We estimate an auction value of $2,000 to $3,000 for this piece.
GUEST: For the certificate?
APPRAISER: For the certificate. And if you were to insure it, you could probably insure it for about $5,000.
GUEST: Okay, that sounds very nice.
