GUEST: I brought you an autographed team basketball from 1984 from the Chicago Bulls, which was Michael Jordan's rookie year. I went to a party at Northwestern University, and, uh, this was a raffle item. And I spent ten dollars on raffle tickets and I won the ball. I've looked up Michael Jordan balls, but I've never been able to find a full team ball signature with his signature on it. So it's, we've had it since 1984. It's been sitting in a display case in my family room.
APPRAISER: And that speaks to the rarity of the item. A team ball, with Jordan, rookie year. In 1984, they weren't very good. They won 38 games.
GUEST: Right.
APPRAISER: Made the playoffs, were exited the first round, beaten by the Bucks. It's in pristine condition. An insurance value on this of $3,000 would be appropriate.
GUEST: (laughing) Really?
APPRAISER: Absolutely.
GUEST: Whoa!
