APPRAISER: What made Beaufort, South Carolina, so famous was this good little movie from 1994 called Forrest Gump.
GUEST: Yes, ma'am.
APPRAISER: So where did you get these signs?
GUEST: I knew the boy that owned the boat that ran it during the movie. The signs were given to him and his dad after the movie was completed. And we just worked a deal as things went on, and I traded him a shrimp boat model for the signs.
APPRAISER: When we think of movie memorabilia, we think of what the icon is for that movie. And "Jenny" just about is the one thing that you could have besides the candy box that just screams Forrest Gump. I'd have to do a little bit more research to find out about how many there were, but we think this set would have a value of between $3,000 and $5,000 at auction.
GUEST: Thank you, thank you very much.
APPRAISER: Does that sound good to you?
GUEST: Yes, ma'am.
APPRAISER: Okay!
GUEST: I don't intend to sell them.
