APPRAISER: This is a brass teepee lamp that my great-uncle owned.
APPRAISER: It's actually made of bronze.
GUEST: Bronze.
APPRAISER: And it is what we call cold-painted bronze. Right here on the back, there is a mark, and it's a "B" in an urn shape, and it says "Geschutzt" underneath. And the "B" is for Bergmann, and Franz Bergmann was a metalwork studio in Austria at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. He specialized in animalia, and also orientalist and erotic works, as well. Interestingly, for his erotic works, he signed his name backwards, "Nnamgreb."
GUEST: Oh, really.
APPRAISER: What's really unusual is to see the Native American theme. It's a lamp, and on the interior…
GUEST: Mh-hmm.
APPRAISER: …you see the remaining fixtures, the components of that…
GUEST: Yes.
APPRAISER: …and it no longer works. We would place an auction estimate of $5,000 to $7,000.
GUEST: Fantastic.
APPRAISER: Yeah, but, it's a wonderful example and thanks for bringing it on the show!
GUEST: I absolutely love it.
