GUEST: I have a piece of Lalique that I inherited from my maternal grandmother. She lived in Connecticut as I was growing up. I admired it as a child. She used to have it on the dining room table in her home with long stem roses in it. I just fell in love with it. And after she passed, it came down to me.
APPRAISER: We have here underneath, "R. Lalique, France." And that, of course, stands for René Lalique, one of the premier glassmakers in the late 19th, early 20th century in France. And this is a large, frosted glass vase. It's named "Salmon." And it's a pretty highly sought after vase from the late '20s. I think a good auction estimate on this would be $20,000 to $25,000.
GUEST: My goodness. Something I'll treasure even more now.
