GUEST: My mother had it on her bedroom bureau for as long as I can remember, and it was a vase that I just always thought was beautiful.
APPRAISER: So the company that made this is referred to as RSTK, for Riessner, Stellmacher, and Kessel. And this company was in Turn-Teplitz, which is a Bohemian town-- actually two towns put together-- and done, most likely, in 1893-1894. And we know that because of the mark that is used. As you can see here, this is the RSTK amphora mark.
GUEST: Yeah, yeah.
APPRAISER: And there is a mold number, which is 664.
GUEST: Right.
APPRAISER: And that was done just about 1893 and 1894.
GUEST: Oh, okay.
APPRAISER: At auction these days, I would say probably somewhere between $900 and $1,400 as a pre-sale...
GUEST: Okay.
APPRAISER: ...as a pre-sale estimate.
GUEST: That's great. I will treasure it forever.
