GUEST: My grandfather played this, and we've had it in the family ever since.
APPRAISER: The tenor banjo was an extremely popular instrument in the '20s and the '30s. This is a Weymann banjo, made in Philadelphia, circa 1925. Have you ever had it appraised?
GUEST: I had someone tell me that they would buy it from me before.
APPRAISER: Oh, really?
GUEST: But never been appraised.
APPRAISER: If they offered you somewhere around $2,500 to $3,000, it would have been the right price.
GUEST (laughing): Oh, really.
APPRAISER: That's how I would value it.
GUEST: Oh, that's very great, that's wonderful.
