Ernest DuMouchelle
Biography
Ernest J. DuMouchelle passed away in August, 2018, at the age of 76. Ernest toured on the road with ANTIQUES ROADSHOW from 1997 to 2009 and is missed by his colleagues.
He was vice president of DuMouchelle Art Galleries Company and a nationally certified auctioneer and appraiser. He was an established member of the American Society of Appraisers.
Mr. DuMouchelle attended Campion High School in Wisconsin. Afterwards, he attended University of Detroit College, with postgraduate studies at Wayne State University. He was also a member of the Gemological Institute Alumni, where he studied the field of gemology.
DuMouchelle Art Galleries Company is an international fine arts gallery and auction house, specializing in furnishings, crystal, paintings and jewelry. The gallery was opened by Joseph DuMouchelle and has been in business since 1927.
