Kung Pao Beef Recipe | PBS Food



  • 16 ounces rib eye (sliced)
  • Pure Soy
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • 2 ounces chili garlic black bean sauce
  • 2 ounces sweet chili paste
  • 2 ounces Lanchi chili sauce
  • 3 ounces peanuts (roasted)
  • 1 ounce cilantro
  • Sugar (to taste)
  • 1 cup oil
  • Potato starch (optional)
  • 2 chilies


  1. Marinate rib eye with soy, salt and sugar. Let stand for fifteen minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a wok or sauté pan.
  3. Add chilies, cook to perfume. Add beef and sauté. Add chili garlic sauce and sweet chili sauce.
  4. Add lanchi chili paste and sauté gently and let meat absorb flavors. Add scallion, cilantro and peanuts.
  5. Add salt and sugar.
