    Ingredients

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup skinned hazelnuts
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • Four 7 oz. Camembert wheels
  • Baguette or focaccia
  • Sliced apples
  • Strawberry preserves

    Directions

  1. In a food processor mix breadcrumbs and hazelnuts until fine. Dip each Camembert wheel in the egg mixture then roll them in the breadcrumb mixture.
  2. Place Camembert wheels on a sheet pan and place in the oven. Bake for 12 minutes or until the cheese is soft, without breaking open.
  3. Place on a serving place with a toasted baguette or focaccia bread, sliced apples and strawberry preserves.
