New Series: Guilt
When Does it Premiere?
The all-new MASTERPIECE Mystery! series premieres on Sunday, September 5 at 9/8c. Episodes 1 and 2 will air on September 5 at 9/8c and 10/9c, respectively. Then, episodes 3 and 4 will air the following Sunday, September 12, at 9/8c and 10/9c. Check out our handy schedule page and be sure to mark it all down on your calendar!
What is it About?
As the old saying goes: “It’s not the crime, it’s the cover-up.” Everyone has secrets, but they’ll always come out in the end. But that doesn’t stop brothers Max and Jake from hiding their guilt after running into a pedestrian during a drunken drive home from a wedding. Mark Bonnar (Unforgotten, Home Fires, The Paradise) and Jamie Sives (To the Ends of the Earth) star as the wildly opposite, criminal brothers in the show dubbed as “darkly delicious” (The Guardian, UK ) and “the Coen brothers by way of Leith” (The Telegraph, UK).
They do their best to cover up their crime, but how long can their luck last? As their guilt takes them into a dangerous world where everyone seems to have a hidden agenda, they soon discover they can trust no-one — not even each other.
Who is Starring in the Series?
In addition to Bonnar and Sives, the series also costars Ruth Bradley (Pursuit) as Angie, the niece of the hit-and-run victim, Walter. Also appearing are Emun Elliott (The Paradise) as Kenny, Max’s quirky private detective; Sian Brooke (Sherlock) as Claire, Max’s suspicious wife; Moyo Akandé (The Hurricane Heist) as Claire’s more than a gym buddy, Tina; Ellie Haddington (Foyle’s War) as Walter’s pathologically vigilant neighbor, Sheila; and Bill Paterson (Wives and Daughters) as Roy, a sinister mob boss in Edinburgh.

Returning Series: Grantchester, Season 6
When Does It Premiere?
The wait is almost over! Will, Geordie, and the rest of Grantchester’s residents are back in action for eight all-new episodes starting on Sunday, October 3 at 9/8c through Sunday, November 21.
What’s It About?
Welcome to 1958! It may be a new year, but trouble is still (as always) brewing in the village of Grantchester. Will may love his job as the town’s vicar, but the very role he loves puts him at odds with his own ideals when Leonard finds himself at the center of a major scandal. Meanwhile, Geordie finds his principles shaken, Mrs. C is distraught, and Cathy is defiant as ever.
New crimes lurk behind every corner, from a murder during a summer break at a holiday camp, to contested adoptions, the deadly cut-and-thrust of a parish election, American soldiers racing cars, audacious robberies, student protests, and even a murdered music producer. With morality and legality at odds, it’s going to take all of Will’s skill and empathy to help the ones he loves most.
What Else Do We Already Know?

Returning Series: Baptiste, Season 2
When Does it Premiere?
Retired French detective Julien Baptiste (Tchéky Karyo) is back on the case in an all-new season of The Missing spin-off, Baptiste. Season 2 will have six all-new episodes airing on Sundays, October 17 – November 21 at 10/9c.
What’s it About?
The second season follows the (not-so) retired detective as he delves into the corrupt and seedy underworld of Budapest in order to find a British Ambassador’s family, who go missing on a skiing holiday. Ambassador Emma Chambers, played by Fiona Shaw (Killing Eve, Mrs. Wilson), is thrust into the crosshairs of Baptiste’s most complex case to date, as the detective navigates an untrustworthy police force and international media interest as he hunts for Chambers’ husband and two sons. Will they find them before it’s too late?
Who is in the Cast?
Season 1 of the series co-starred Tom Hollander (Pride & Prejudice, Pirates of the Caribbean), Jessica Raine (Call the Midwife), Barbara Sarafian (All of Us), Alec Secareanu (God’s Own Country), and more. Check out our Season 1 cast feature here for more details!
While Tchéky Karyo will return as Julien Baptiste and Anastasia Hille will return as his wife, Celia Baptiste, there will be plenty of new faces to keep an eye out for in Season 2, including Fiona Shaw, Ace Bhatti (Bohemian Rhapsody, Bend it Like Beckham), Hungarian actress Dorka Gryllus, and more.
What More Should I Know?
