Sanditon Season 3 is the Final Season
Sanditon’s third season brings the show’s resolution. Sanditon Season 1 arrived on MASTERPIECE on PBS in 2020. Inspired by the novel Jane Austen left unfinished when she died, the show ignited a passionate fanbase in the U.S. but was canceled in the UK. Left in suspense as to how Charlotte Heywood’s story would continue, American audiences were delighted when, a year later, MASTERPIECE found a new co-producer and renewed Sanditon for a second and third season. Sanditon Season 2 aired in 2022 and Season 3 in 2023.
“We’re sad to take leave of this marvelous series, which has all the wit and joy expected of a Jane Austen-inspired drama,” said Susanne Simpson, Executive Producer of MASTERPIECE. “We know viewers will be on the edge of their seats as the final pieces fall into place.”
