Laurence Fox is Lord Palmerston
The “charismatic and wayward” foreign secretary Lord Palmerston—a thorn in Victoria’s side and an utter delight to watch—is played by Laurence Fox (who couldn’t be more different here than his Inspector Lewis character Hathaway). You won’t want to miss a moment of Palmerston’s palace intrigues and House of Commons shenanigans!

Kate Fleetwood is Victoria’s sister, Princess Feodora of Leiningen
When this wily wildcard makes an unexpected visit to the palace, not everyone is thrilled. Feodora is played by the Tony and Olivier award-nominated actress Kate Fleetwood (Harlots).

Lily Travers (Kingsman) is the Duchess of Monmouth and Nicholas Audsley (The White Princess) is her husband, the Duke. Comedian John Sessions replaces Peel as Prime Minister John Russell, and David Burnett joins the cast as a new footman.
What to Expect in Season 3
We know more now than we did after the Season 2 finale, when Victoria‘s cast and creator teased Season 3 with talk of a new Prime Minister, Victoria’s mysterious sister, and instability in the monarchy. When the series opens in 1848, Victoria is under pressure to leave London as revolution sweeps across the European continent and the Chartist movement nears its boiling point at home. Plus, according to series creator Daisy Goodwin, Victoria and Albert find that “their relationship is at breaking point and it is a struggle for mastery that neither side can win.”
